Our safety commitment

Every person on VeviGoo deserves to feel safe — whether they are a customer booking an Okada home from work, a rider accepting their tenth job of the day, a seller dispatching an order, or an investor whose capital depends on the platform's reputation. Safety guides every product decision we make.

Verified Drivers and Riders

Every rider and driver must complete identity verification with a valid Ghana Card or driver's licence, a clear front-facing photo, and proof of vehicle insurance where applicable. New applications are reviewed within 48 hours.

Live GPS Tracking

Every ride, delivery and courier job is tracked end-to-end. You see your driver's live position from acceptance to drop-off, and you can share your trip with anyone in two taps so a trusted person always knows where you are.

Driver Identity in the App

Before your trip begins you see the driver's name, photograph, vehicle make and model, and number plate — so you always know who is picking you up and what you are looking for.

Secure Payments

All in-app payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant partners (MTN Mobile Money, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo Money, Stripe). VeviGoo never sees your wallet PIN or full card number. Disputed transactions are investigated within 24 hours.

Reporting Issues

Open any active or recent trip and tap "Report an issue" to flag unsafe behaviour, fraud, missing items, or delivery problems. Reports go straight to our Trust and Safety team and are reviewed within hours.

Emergency Support

During any active trip an SOS button is available in the app. Tapping it shares your live location and trip details with our 24/7 safety team, and the team can contact Ghana Police Service on your behalf if needed.

If you have witnessed unsafe driving, a fraud attempt, or any behaviour that breaks our Community Guidelines, please report it. We investigate every credible report within 24 hours.
