Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of the VeviGoo platform. Please read them carefully. By using VeviGoo, you agree to be bound by them.

1. Introduction

VeviGoo Limited ("VeviGoo," "we," "us") operates a technology platform that connects customers, riders, drivers, sellers, couriers and investors. Our services include ride-hailing (Okada and car), food and grocery delivery, same-day parcel courier, a digital marketplace for merchants, and an investor programme for asset-backed mobility financing. By creating a VeviGoo account or using any of our services on the web, mobile app, or via WhatsApp, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current information during registration and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity on your account. VeviGoo may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information, are used to defraud the platform, or engage in abusive behaviour toward other users.

3. Platform Rules

You agree not to use VeviGoo to: (a) conduct illegal activity, including the transport of controlled substances or contraband; (b) harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users; (c) submit fake orders, fraudulent payment instruments, or false referral claims; (d) reverse-engineer the platform or attempt to gain unauthorised access; (e) operate fake businesses, counterfeit listings, or misleading investment offers. Violations may result in immediate account suspension and reporting to law enforcement.

4. Payments and Fees

Ride fares and delivery fees are calculated dynamically based on distance, time, demand and service tier, and are shown in-app before you confirm. Payment is processed through MTN Mobile Money, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo Money, Visa, Mastercard, or cash on delivery where available. Refunds are issued at our discretion following an investigation, typically within 5 business days. Platform service fees apply to every transaction; withdrawals from your VeviGoo wallet require identity verification.

5. Investor Terms

Participation in the VeviGoo Investor Programme is a financial undertaking with operational and market risks. Target returns (currently 2.5% net per month) are estimates derived from historical fleet performance, not guarantees. Actual earnings may be lower during periods of reduced demand, fleet maintenance, accidents, or regulatory changes. Investor funds are held in a regulated escrow account and matched to specific bikes, cars, or storefronts; payouts follow the schedule published in your investor dashboard and are subject to operational costs, taxes and platform fees.

6. Rider and Driver Terms

Riders and drivers must hold a valid Ghanaian driving licence, current vehicle insurance where applicable, and pass our verification checks. You are solely responsible for safe operation of your vehicle, compliance with traffic laws, and the safety of passengers and cargo. VeviGoo retains a service commission on each completed trip (currently up to 20%, varying by tier). Repeated cancellations, unsafe driving, customer complaints, or off-platform solicitation may result in deactivation.

7. Seller Terms

Sellers must list real products or services available in stock, with accurate descriptions, photographs, and pricing. Counterfeit goods, expired products, illegal items, and misleading listings are strictly prohibited. Sellers commit to fulfilling orders within stated preparation times. Excessive cancellations, late deliveries, or quality complaints may reduce your storefront ranking or result in suspension. VeviGoo currently charges 0% commission on seller transactions through July 2026; standard fees will apply thereafter and will be disclosed in advance.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate any account that engages in fraud, chargeback abuse, fake referral schemes, money laundering, or activity that endangers other users. Where possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal. Funds held in suspended accounts may be frozen during the investigation period. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred before suspension.

9. Limitation of Liability

VeviGoo is a technology marketplace that connects independent riders, drivers, sellers and investors with customers. We are not the carrier of passengers or parcels, nor the merchant of products listed by third-party sellers. To the maximum extent permitted by Ghanaian law, our liability for any claim arising from a trip, order, listing, or investment is limited to the value of that specific transaction. We are not liable for force-majeure events, third-party actions outside our control, network outages, or delays caused by traffic, weather, or government action.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app and via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of VeviGoo after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The latest version is always available at vevigoo.com/terms.
